What do I need to apply?

New FNB South Africa Limited clients will need to undergo a 'Know Your Customer' (KYC) check at any of our FNB South Africa Limited branches. FNB South Africa Limited has specific duties to prevent money laundering such as to perform a KYC check on all our customers.

To apply for the Turquoise Cheque Account, the following documentation is required:

  • A South Africa passport
  • Proof of residence: a recent (less than 3 months old) utility account, e.g. water or electricity
  • Proof of income
